Turtle Mandala
Turtle Mandala
The turtle is one of the most auspicious Vastu symbols for long-term stability and wealth — and the mandala form amplifies that energy beautifully. This piece on MDF board feels like a collector's object. It's one of the more unique formats in our range, and it consistently surprises people when they see it in person. A meaningful, accessible gift.
MADE TO ORDER — PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING
Every painting at Kriya Art Studio is made by hand, one at a time, by the artist. We do not hold ready stock. Your piece is painted fresh after your order is confirmed, left to cure fully, and only then packed and dispatched.
- Every painting is handmade and unique — slight variations in colour, texture, and finish from the reference image are natural and a mark of authentic handmade work
- Actual colours may vary slightly from what you see on screen due to photography lighting and your display settings — we are confident the real piece will be more beautiful in person
- Please read the product description, size, and framing options carefully before ordering
- If you have any questions before placing your order, write to us or call us — we are always happy to help

Because every painting goes into production shortly after your order is confirmed, cancellations are only possible within 24 hours of placing the order.

- Cancellations requested after 24 hours cannot be accepted as work on your painting will have already begun
- Orders that have been dispatched cannot be cancelled under any circumstances
- Custom and personalised orders are non-cancellable once confirmed
We will respond to all cancellation requests within 24 hours.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Because every painting is handmade and made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges except in the following circumstances.
We will accept a return or replacement only if:
- The product received is visibly damaged in transit
- The product delivered does not match your order confirmation
We do not accept returns or exchanges for:
- Change of mind after ordering
- Colour or texture variations that are natural to handmade work
- Differences between screen display and actual product

How to raise a damage or incorrect item claim:
If your painting arrives damaged or incorrect, you must do the following within 24 hours of delivery:
- Record an unboxing video the moment you receive the parcel — the video must show the sealed package before it is opened and must continue through the full unboxing without cuts
- Take clear photographs of the damage or incorrect item alongside the packaging and outer label
- Email the video and photographs to us with your order number within 24 hours of delivery
Claims raised without an unboxing video and photographic proof of the package at the time of receipt cannot be processed under any circumstances. This is required for us to assess the damage and raise a dispute with our courier partner on your behalf. No exceptions will be made to this requirement.
REFUND POLICY
Refunds are processed only in the following cases:
- A return claim has been accepted by us for transit damage or incorrect item
- Your order could not be fulfilled due to reasons on our end
- Your delivery address falls outside our serviceable zones and no alternative address can be provided
Refunds are not applicable for:
- Cancellation requests made after 24 hours of placing the order
- Claims raised without an unboxing video and photographic proof at the time of receipt
- Natural variations in colour, texture, or finish that are inherent to handmade work
- Custom and personalised orders under any circumstances
Approved refunds will be processed within 7 – 10 working days to your original payment method.
PACKAGING & HOW WE PROTECT YOUR ARTWORK
Each painting is finished with two coats of varnish before it is packed — protecting it from dust and moisture while giving it a lasting natural sheen.
We pack every order by hand, using a layered approach so your artwork arrives exactly as it left our studio:
- Butter paper is placed directly against the painted surface, ensuring nothing sticks to or damages the colour
- Bubble wrap cushions the entire painting against impact during transit
- Corner protectors are fitted to each edge — the most vulnerable parts of any canvas
- Thermocol sheets on both faces act as rigid shock absorbers against drops and pressure
- A corrugated cardboard outer layer provides structural strength throughout the journey
- Cling wrap seals everything — waterproof and tight, protecting against moisture and keeping all layers in place
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Your painting has been varnished twice and is built to last. A few simple habits will keep it beautiful for years:
- Hang in a dry, well-ventilated space
- Avoid direct sunlight — prolonged exposure can fade pigments over time
- Keep away from bathrooms and damp walls
- Dust gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth when needed
- Do not use water, cleaning sprays, or any chemicals on the surface
- Always handle with clean, dry hands
- Hold from the sides or the frame — never touch the painted surface directly
MATERIALS USED
Every Kriya painting is made using professional-grade materials — chosen not just for how they look on day one, but for how well they hold up over years of display.
- Acrylic paints — we work with Mont Marte, Brustro, and Liquitex, all professional-grade acrylics known for their dense pigmentation, colour accuracy, and long-term archival stability
- Gold foil — applied by hand at the finest details, the foil catches light differently depending on the hour and angle, giving each piece a quiet luminosity that no print can replicate
- Canvas and MDF boards — we paint on stretched cotton canvas and smooth-primed MDF boards, including circular formats; every surface is prepared before a single stroke is made
- Outline markers and pencils — fine-tipped detailing tools used for the intricate linework and under-sketching that give each composition its precision and depth
- Varnish finish — every completed painting receives two protective coats of varnish as the final step, sealing the colour, enhancing the sheen, and protecting the surface from dust and moisture
- Hanging hardware — a D-ring hook or sawtooth hanger is fitted and secured to the back of every piece before packing, so your painting is ready to hang the moment you open it
- Frame options — each painting is available as a gallery-stretched canvas or with a slim PVC frame; both options are clean, wall-ready, and suited to the devotional and meditative nature of the work
REPAIRS
If a painting purchased from Kriya Art Studio needs restoration or repair at any point, we offer paid repair services on a case-by-case basis. Write to us with photographs of the piece and details of what is needed, and we will assess and share an estimate with you.
Our repair policy does not cover damage resulting from mishandling, moisture exposure, direct sunlight, or general wear and tear after delivery.
